Robin discovered her passion for photography as an elective her final semester of her undergraduate program at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Had she not planned to move west immediately after the approaching graduation, she would have pursued another degree before entering the workforce. This is one of her earliest photographs taken on her first 35mm SLR camera. It has served as a source of inspiration to strive to master technique and to capture serendipity.

Robin completed her BA in English with a minor in Anthropology and moved to San Francisco. She began her career in marketing at MBT Architecture and continued to hone her photography skills. She's attended numerous UC Extension courses and photography workshops, most notably, weekend workshops at Brooks Institute of Photography.

Robin divides her time shooting assignment photography and running a full-service web design and marketing business, Webmontage.
